The young one appears to be "taking off" for a first time flight and mother is holding steady for balance. I agree with Isaac, the shadows help compliment image. |

Interesting how the different shapes play together giving me feel of suspension. I like the flow from upper left to right and how the roof top flows while seemingly modifying their shapes. The blue sky and clouds also works well and the couple does give a live, human touch. |

There is a lot to like about this image. The long shadows, the texture of the wall, the lines of the wall and sidewalk and then the round tire.
The face of boy in the red shirt seems lighter than head and arms. I'm curious if you would consider converting to b&w and leave the shirt red. Post it if you wish to try. |

For me it's hard to figure out what might be on the guys mind. Is he thinking "you want to take my photo? Sure, go ahead,". lol
Had you moved a few steps to the right we would simply see a man with a cigarette in a checkered shirt with hands in the pockets of camouflage trousers. Instead we have an amputated man on the left and I think he adds stability to the scene. His vertical lines play well with the vertical lines in photo being the main subject, the wall edge and freezer doors in background. |

The story could be about a first time experience with a camera. You captured a joyful moment and with great composition. I think the amputated parts are an added feature by pulling the viewer into the moment and in a sense framing the main subjects. What might have been dead space is acting as a complimentary frame. |

Fabulous! I see form. First flowing from the woman than the screw and the screw point may be inappropriate, still it fills the triangular shape of the female form. The purse serves well to pull attention to the woman? Or perhaps the phone? Or the screw? the tension is pleasing. A great photo and my question: why did you wait so long to share it? |
