The pigeon man looks to be having fun yet concerned smile. Possibly concerned about getting scratched from claws. I like the outstretched arms with good control of depth of field and I agree with Isaac's crop. Very nice. |

Inspiring!
Our group has submitted wow factor images this month and here we have a great one. I'm curious, would the image benefit a square crop? Perhaps angle of shot prohibits a balanced square crop. I love it! |

Sometimes we are quick with the trigger and we capture a lovely moment. We cannot control those moments. We can capture them and unfortunately we have a precious moment which contains unwanted features. It happens. It is a great photo of a young girl and her reaction/interaction with a dog and her facial expression is priceless. |

I find the long lines and different textures of cobblestone and smooth cement surfaces play well with the shadow and backlighting. Good eye and composition and thank you for sharing. |

Wow! A great image.
I find the eyes beautiful, intense and captivating.
I agree with Isaac's crop and can add nothing more than complements for it is truly a great work of art. |

First - I love our steam locomotives from years past. Great photo subjects and I prefer the B&W version. That being said the rust in the color version offers a warmer tone. My eye immediately settles on the steam found at boiler and below stack. It then travels up and rests on the steam and clouds above. For me, when bringing my eye to engineer creates some tension. However, I find the old man engineer framed in the locomotive window with the aged steel, rivets and steam to be attractive and a good composition. |
