Afternoon beach scenes are tuff. The back pack stands out to me being a color blind person who is seeing red. Is it red? I see the difference Guy offers and in this case the black and white version does not work for me. Isaacs adjustments work best, for me and as already stated the bright beach from behind subjects is difficult. |

You caught a beautiful story indeed. Wonderful colors and as Gloria mentioned the background reflection gives a pleasant depth. I like it! Great image and thanks for sharing. |

Super great image that pulls me in with excitement. There is a lot to like first being baseball, the vintage attire, the outstretched hands and motion and a softness all making for a great capture. |

Had we not known the game of cricket we would look into image with wonder. The women standing on rocks peering thru fence are clearly interested in what goes on beyond. Well balanced and with good space. The young one in red seems miffed and adds even more interest. |

I prefer the black and white version and believe a closer shot would have placed more emphasis on the man in a peaceful setting. |

I prefer your posted version over the serpia as too much darkness takes away from the scene and shame Jim refers to. I, like Daniel would prefer more space but timing caught a beautiful composition that might have otherwise been lost. Great image and thanks for sharing. |
