I see the cloud picture and phone as main subject. The man is important and supporting. The question makes me think about tension. In this case, my eye is drawn back and forth from man to leg. Is the tension good? The leg and arm adds balance and I do view it with interest. Therefore intriguing, yes. |

A hip shot? Very nice.
I believe the cut off photo to the left is a distraction. I like the shadows leading us up to the cloud that can be seen in the phone camera as well. |

Isaac's adjustments us see the detail that was lost in the darkness. The photographer has an arrow pointed at him and he seems to be interested in something more toward the left of center. I wonder what that might be. |

Great capture of a young boy holding hands and having a conversation. The low profile pulls me into the nicely framed shot. Isaacs adjustment is helpful as the boys face was bright. Was this a mid day shot? |

I was immediately intrigued by the long narrow corridor and lines. Many leading lines and geometric shapes. The manhole covers form a line as do the steps. The image has an element of texture and causes me to look into the photo with interest. I would have preferred capturing the boy earlier and closer. I understand Isaac's comment about the wall closing in feeling. Would standing more in center of corridor helped to prevent the tension caused by the left wall? Or maybe turning camera slightly to the right? It would be great to hear others comment on this for all to benefit. |

The artwork has immediate impact. Desperate and disturbing to me. Overwhelming tension between man and art making it difficult to focus on the whole image as the imprisoned is the main subject. I'm drawn in and study as if present with the gentleman adding another element. All combined I find it an interesting study that stirs emotion and for me, a satisfying piece of photographic art. |
