Permission, to ask or not to ask. Sometimes a photo opportunity presents itself and I quickly move in close. I'm smiling and communicating my photo art form while taking multiple shots. Im warmly received and permission granted. Usually with chuckles. I think getting close to my subjects has helped me improve. I needed only to find a technique comfortable to me and my subject. This said, I favor photos of unknowing subjects. |

Mad? An understatement and I'm glad you survived this encounter.
I too believe the background is distracting. The colored triangle of the dress does pull the eye with uncomfortable tension. |

There is much I like in this image. Concept, subject and composition and here with the choices I prefer the b&w. |

Hip shot?
I like the corridor and believe I would sit and/or stroll for days taking photos here. I really like the low angel and the softness of the plastic shopping bag. The picture is filled with interesting geometry and lines and I wait anxiously for more photos from this market. |

I like the lines taking my eye into the picture and the subjects are on a raised walk. Interesting how some are looking at there camera screen to view photo results. Something I seldom do and often wish I had. Full disclosure: I am color blind (deficient) and for this reason I do not adjust my photos for color. I have adjusted for temp with a too vibrant result. Please forgive me, as with Isaacs photo, I see the mute and do not understand the attraction. |

I love it! I study as if curiously wanting to know more about subject. Diffusing flash with finger ... very good and thanks for the tip. The lower angle provides a perfectly intimate connection. Hard life indeed and a wall hanger to be displayed for everyone's enjoyment. Great job and thank you for sharing. |

And the mother smiles with love and anticipation of the finish photographs. I see much joy as those around also have an interested if not encouraging smile and baby in mother's arms appears to be looking directly at you. I'm not sure photo color is muted or not sharply focused. Is there a color or photo filter effect being used? |
