Yikes.. I would be cast out .......I fear if I showed that at our club. My definition of Modification or "Pure" would not extend to "Advancing the age " of what is obviously a younger bird. Sorry mate I would not do that. |

The eyes have it!!! Cropping has really made the shot .....Where is Mum!!! was my first thought but I realise it is a captive critter.
I recall finding 3 Bobcat kittens in Oregon one time and quickly moved on.
Nice work

Well shucks I am a horizontal fan ...I feel more comfortable with the diagonals coming from the horizontal cup. The light and the dark offer a nice contract almost a positive negative very nice as always !!! |

Well done on the focus of multiple blossoms...blurred back ground highlights the flowers. Neato!! |

I vote green version !! The rays of light are magic. There is a sharpness of the rock face but the softness of the foliage . What around the corner feeling.... Great stuff |

Amazing photo and amazing bird... Heron and ergots are very interesting feeders. Different species have different preferred method. wings as shadow creator, hopping , stirring with the feet. Very interesting Great photo!! I enjoy the photos of the Florida birds. Nice memories. |

I agree with the comments. The time of day was not the best. still before 10:00 but a bright day I prefer dull over cast when going to Waikuku.
Perhaps unfortunate the sand water in the left background was not more favorably aligned or the interaction was between a Red-Billed gull and it's juvenile. The bill would be much prominent. |
