Either the Ostrich is attacking the tree or going to run into it with eye bigger than its brain it is difficult to know which. The sepia tone reminds me of some of the Johnson BW African animal pictures I saw as a kid . I think I prefer the wide image as it fits better with the way the bird moves in the environment = |

A difficult depth of field situation well handled. I agree with Dean the green bit would be best totally blurred

reducing the background removes distraction and increase focus on the bird and reflection in the foreground. Great balance and deltaic.. You are a wizarderess (or how ever that is spelled) in Post processing cheers |

Ditto with Merv and Candy. I miss swallow we only have the welcome Swallow in NZ. similar to the Barn Swallow. Great composition! |

If the version version gets my my vote and I agree with what Merv has suggested. the very subtle purplish hue in the flower parts in amazing.

Thanks Merv. I have a lot to learn yet but the night skies here and the ease to get to the local foot hills there is some good materials to play with and in... until the season is over and the road north repaired cheers |
