I want to go the Africa!!!!! if only to see these birds....I think the suggestion to cut out the branch is spot on and it would highlight an amazing bird. Good work with the Tamron lens I find the G2 in still a handful to handhold but the results can be stunning. good work on a tough bird. Thanks |

Nature is all around us ..... I will not add any thing further. I agreed with comment about different time of day would have different lighting that could add better capture of depth. It appears flatter than it could be. Would be cool to have a peek over the edge cheers |

Again A wow creation that appears more painting like than photo. The clarity of the features is really amazing. Great examples thanks |

Yep I am with the too tight crowd here as well , but the eyes are great !!
the background clearly shows it is not a "in-the -wild-setting" and the brown cardboard is a distraction for me. Lions are amazing critter I still have a small scare on my thumb as a reminded of how sharp the claws are.
At Orana Park we had a towed trailer through the lion reserve out of which we feed the lions I was flipping out a chuck of meat when one of the cats paws reached to the opening I got caught on the thumb ... We changed the protocols after and closed that activity (Sorry for the tangent ) |

Reaching for the branch incoming night heron. I agree with the comments the back ground is mute the focus is on the bird and it highlights the action. IT is an example of full flap extended even the alula is visible on the left wing. The alula is the freely moving first digit, a bird's "thumb".
Well done mate |
