45 Dec 19 Comment I find horse is hard to photograph, if focus on eye(s), horse nose will not be as sharp, vice versa. How do you do it?
Nice job on darken the background, especially with lower half!

45 Dec 19 Comment good image, lines, overall. Might try to back off a bit of saturation? wondering if you try split toning in LR? Dec 20th
45 Dec 19 Comment very nice form, and partial sharpness, and wonder why would you shoot it in JPEG, and high iso of 8000, it looks ok on cell phone, but look bad on big high resolution monitor, the noise is obvious. sorry! Dec 20th
45 Dec 19 Comment At the time of submit, I didn't crop in as mush as I would normally do. Now I kind of regret so. Here's a rendition of crop, any better? Dec 20th
45 Dec 19 Reply my guess is DOF, bushes are not on the same planes as it seems, :P Dec 20th
45 Dec 19 Comment Ray, very nice be able to turn everyday sort of items into something great, good eyes!
would suggest cropped in, tighter, to highlight the crown jewel in the middle, and thus rid of very bright distractions in the frame. Of course you may try to darken them to do the same. However, I like it tighter.

45 Dec 19 Reply Ah, thank you for clarify it. At the same time, I'm amazed at how the birds moved at a smooth and orderly fashion, and just a pretty sight. Granted, there are a few youngsters in there haven't got the hang of it, but.... Dec 16th
45 Dec 19 Reply Thanks Cindy,
This is actually one shot, and I'd find the original to show that the cropping. with that input, give me some motivation to look into PS on merging, it just didn't come up as needed. :P

75 Dec 19 Comment another suggestion is to crop into some more, two bees at works is enough to tell your 'busy bee' story, while rid of a lot of distractions. just my two cents. Dec 22nd
75 Dec 19 Comment The lion's face is clear and fun, composition is fine, but lens @300mm, you'd need be very close to the subject. Dec 22nd
75 Dec 19 Reply thanks, now with winter set in, more time to work on post proc. Dec 22nd
75 Dec 19 Comment yeh, more and more I'd choose other locales to get a cleaner background, to stand out the subject. Post proc is no fun. A few more steps is easier than pp. Dec 22nd
