I like your changes, Sunil! I would like to see his eyes a bit more, they still seem a bit dark. In his shirt pocket, he has something sticking out that you might remove. There is also a couple of stains on his shirt near his pocket you might remove.
I think its a beautiful portrait! |

Thanks a lot, Robert, great feedback! I've worked the monochrome version a bit, and introduced a color worked version. I'd love your thoughts on both! Thanks! |

Here's the mono, with more dimension to the tree, also. |

Sunil said he liked the original color better, so I worked on it a bit. Using Jim's advice, I removed most of her freckles, darkened her left hand, and added some dimension to the tree behind her. Thoughts? Suggested changes? I'm following with a monochrome version. Check them out. Thanks! |

I think this is a great image to composite. The original had better trees, but the new composition has much better Northern Lights. So glad you got to see them!
I'm not sure the tent adds to the overall beauty. It is a little odd since we only see part of it and I feel a little confused on what the subject is. I'll look forward to other's feedback on the tent. Is there more tent to recover?
Really beautiful!!

Beautiful image! I especially like how the stem turned out. The water drops are subtle and lovely. I see a tiny black dot on the top petal that you might want to remove. I just took a macro class, inspired by you! We didn't get to learn focus stacking, though. |

Wow!!! Fantastic work! I love your changes! I don't have any suggestions, but what a wonderful creation I'd love to try!
If you ever decide to compete in PSA, Generative AI is not allowed in any section like People or portraits. You could use the Magic Erase or Clone tool to make your changes and it would be as easy and simple as AI in this composition. |

Welcome back, Sunil! What a lovely portrait! I do love the color changes in the background and great textured wooden trim on the wall.
The man is very interesting, a good choice for a pic! I'd love to see his eyes, though, and perhaps brighten his face? The new "People" masking in Lightroom would allow you to bring us into his face, lips and eyes very easily.
If you can, perhaps sharpen his hand on the cane? The cane looks interesting and is a nice part of his character.
The yellow window is a bit bright and keeps grabbing my attention. As much as I love it, it is the subject instead of the wonderful gentleman you photographed. Even toned down, it will still be a wonderful addition to your colorful image. Can't wait to see more of your images from India in upcoming months! |

What a great idea to get some pix of a tree coming down! I think its clear what is happening, but if you have a similar pic where the chain saw blade is showing(instead of aimed away), it would be even more powerful. Or perhaps if his blade was cutting the limb and we were in mid action.
It took me several times to catch that the limb had actually been cut, so maybe a pic a couple of seconds after this when the limb is pulled away would create even more tension.
LOVE your idea here, and I'm guessing that a few moments before or after this would make a killer image!
Of course, the sawdust made a big hazy cloud, did you try Dehaze to see if that would reduce the dust? It seems a bit muddy, I'm not sure it adds that much to your image.
Everything seems just a bit too green/yellow to me...the limb we are cutting and the surrounding trees, so you might try desaturating the green or yellow a bit.
Everything seems a bit too sharpened on my screen, we'll see if anyone else sees that. |
