I've darkened the sun, and I've cropped in from the left, as several suggested. Candy, I tried flipping and the original appealed to me more. Any suggestions for a title? |

Pierre, I skipped the ring on my adapter on advice of a friend. Hoping to get the 100-500 so that the camera is better balanced. I'll keep my eye on your latest R5 captures! |

It actually weighs about the same, the weight is in all those big lenses. But hoping to get a handle and capture some more pix. |

Thanks! I did have a tint on the sun, but obviously not enough, I'll strengthen it. |

I think this is your best work to date. A very nice crisp bloom and its on a diagonal. It's also an interesting bloom. Pink and green are complementary colors on the color wheel, which makes it a stronger image.
Do try to shoot at dawn or dusk, as the harsh light in your past photos hurts your overall photo quality. However, this is a nice improvement! |

I'm circling back and I think I agree with Pierre that a little more brightness would help. It has a yellowish cast, that I'm not sure was intentional. |

Nice! A great reminder about going out when its overcast and has just rained. The water drops are nice and the subtle pink and bright yellow colors and perfect lily pad all work in your favor. Something isn't sitting right with me and I can't decide what it is. Perhaps a bit of a color cast? I will see if anyone else has a suggestion. |

Oh, I'm soooo jealous you got to shoot a star trail! I've been wanting to learn how! I like that you have Lake Michigan in the background and the dune is a different color. I don't know how you would make the star trails more prominent, but that's what I'd like to see to make it a bit stronger.
I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana, half the year, about six hours from Big Bear so maybe we can shoot sometime when Covid dies down in a year or two. I've never been there! Looks amazing! |

Pierre, what an unusual bunny look! Like he smelled something bad ;-). The lighter grass gives you some nice separation and highlights his face. I'd be tempted to lighten his eyes more so we see a stronger catch light. You might consider a tighter crop to show him off a bit more. Unfortunately, that mowed grass will keep him out of PSA Nature. Fun capture, especially since it looks like you were almost at eye level! |

Oh, I love this! Love the grains so sand in the foreground and the sharp bird and the blurred background. What was your f/stop? You didn't mention how you processed it. Did you blur the background or was he that far from anything.
I've never hear of a red caped clover. he's a handsome bird. His lifted claw seems odd, is that how it looked? You didn't provide the original for comparison.
Would love to have this! |

Wow, he's an attractive guy! Crazy how his eye changes colors! It looks like your background colors were really interesting also, and the texture adds to the separation. As always, your work is spectacular and creative! |

Ohhh, so excited you like it "as is". That's a big compliment, coming from you! I did redo the image using the group's advice. Do you think I've improved or regressed? Thanks for my new title! |

Hi Terry, thanks for the great feedback. I left her thigh and skirt alone in my two renditions today. I went with a crop similar to yours and went with a high key look. Better? Worse? Always appreciate your insights! |

Hi Mitch, I took your crop suggestion, take a look at the mon and color versions I added below. Watch a You Tube on Liquify, its the most fun filter! You can Bloat to make something bigger (geat for eyes), you can pucker to bring in something like the model's thigh or belly, and you can move stuff, like bring her dress down. Great fun! |

Jason, thanks so much! Sooo funny about me in the water in Florida! I've added a color version below and I went with a similar crop to yours and Terry's. Feedback most welcome on the color and b/w I added. |

Thanks for all the great feedback! I went with Jason's and Terry's longer beach look with reflection, and Helen's grounding idea (with more beach), and trimmed more off the right. You'll see I went with the lighter "Jason" look. Feedback? You'll see a color version below also. Definitely keeping "Joy of Dancing" title from Jim. Thanks so much, everyone! |

We are all so jealous you were able to get this incredible shot! And now I've ordered the RF 100-500 and 1.4x, 2.0x and battery grip in addition to my new RF5 Canon--you are costing me a lot of money ;-).
I LOVE Terry's Curve layer. The eagle shows up with some more dimension to her, and the background stays soft from the rain. Looks like she's missing a lot of her wing and tail feathers, or is that just when they land?
I think Jason's idea of removing the landing branch would also make a strong composition. What an incredible and powerful image! |

Jason, I'm struggling with this one. I definitely like the version on your web page better, with more of the tree showing and the tree not dead center. I think the vertical works better for you, too. This type of photo work best shot in bracketing, did you happen to catch some in focus trees where you can merge?
Glad to know there are cool places to shoot in Oklahoma, I've not spent much time there.

This caught my eye immediately, as I LOVE color! I thought it was a store that sold journals and I got all excited, as I love journals! At least it is a piece of art you've shared with us.
I think it was worth all your Photoshop skills and "too much time" to create this! I do agree with Helen that its a bit difficult to look at with the super sharpening, but that might be what you were going for--op art?
Your skills are fabulous! What a save! |

Hi Helen, Sorry you are trapped in lockdown hell. Good for you to maximize your freedom for a hot minute.
This really isn't my genre, but I do think the monochrome version of Jason's (without the noise) focuses me on the curves and movement and less on "What is this?".
I don't think I've ever heard of "puppet warp". I googled it and was surprised at how flexible and awesome it is. Hmmm...going to have to come up with some fun pix to puppet warp. Thanks for the new idea!

Hi Sunil,
I like your treatment much better than the glass original photo. I actually thought it was a gold statue (perhaps a baby Buddha) that you converted to monochrome. As mentioned, I'd either darken windows as you did in your second version, or I'd "Select Subject" and move out of the glass box idea entirely.
Very tricky and you did as good a job as one can get with this. |

Can't believe how much stronger the image became with Jason's crop! I agree its gorgeous, with strong lines and so pretty. I might be tempted to add a tiny bit of vibrance or contrast to the homes to have them stand out a tad more, but its a great composition and a brilliant rescue. |
