I love the b/w, but the color version is spectacular also! Loved all the comments about the remoteness in the conversation here. |

Thanks so much for your explanation on how you focus on multiple pieces so you can keep everything sharp. Such fantastic info from you! |

Dean, I really like your choice. The pink flower is dying, so its not as powerful. I think that cropping up might make it more compelling. I love the smaller flower included. I agree it looks a little bright. It's really a beautiful pic and I think you have a beautiful capture. |

Wow, I missed the fish in the first pic! I think that the color cast and other changes made the fish show up so much more! Nice updates to a wonderful pic! Thanks for suggesting AI Noise in Topaz, Candy. I have it and didn't know if it was the best. |

Thanks so much, Dean! Yes, the crowds are awful! But I think I became a better photographer trying to figure out how to shoot in such a difficult situation. |

Texture brush might be great for my rocks here. I haven't used it enough to give any advice, but there are several You Tube videos with some tips. I love www.KillerLightRoomTips.com and its written by Adobe! |

Geoffrey, there are a zillion articles if you google Antelope Canyon with many suggestions on how to get the best pix and the best time of year. Here's one--https://digital-photography-school.com/10-quick-tips-for-photographing-antelope-canyons/ |

What a wonderful photo and sorry to hear about your camera! Congrats on your photo accomplishments!
It's a beautiful photo, so nicely balanced with the dark on each side, the white in the clouds, and wonderful lines in the sand, both dramatic and subtle. Fabulous! |

Geoffrey, Thanks so much! Upper Antelope Canyon is amazing, I hope you'll get there soon! Plan on going back twice, as the first time is a bit of a shock with all the tourists and photographers--I got much better pix after looking at my first batch. A wide angle lens is a must. Time of year makes a big difference in the light. |

What a stunning shot, Candy! Do you feel you get a sharper pic with two photos instead of a deeper depth of field? Would you use this technique if you weren't at 300 mm? Very powerfully done. |

Nice capture, Pierre! We have some real bird experts, so I'll let them offer a profession opinion. It seems a bit soft. I'd add some selective sharpening to make your bird more sharp. I'd also consider a tighter crop since the sky doesn't add anything. I'd also consider noise reduction, since the sky seems noisy. It's an interesting angle and his wings are in a great position. |

Wow, the osprey was bright yellow? I've never seen that. I find the noise to be very distracting. Maybe run noise software on the sky. I'd be tempted to separate the head from the wing with just a bit of outlining to create more separation. I'd also be tempted to brush a bit more sharpness on the wings and eye.
Great capture and the pine branch is a nice addition. Can't wait to go out with you here! |

Thanks so much for encouraging me to try some changes! That's why I love our group! Here her cloak is much whiter, the sky is cropped and her navel bulge is gone. I've warmed her up a bit. |

Terry, I hadn't noticed how far off my whites got until your correction, so thanks for that!~ I like the ray idea, but the light was falling from her left, so it doesn't work as nicely as yours does. Some new ideas posted shortly. |

Wonderful for you to challenge yourself! Can you explain how you processed him to get this look? Perhaps show us your original? The beard texture is awesome, but his skin seems a little overdone?
We'd love to learn how you did this! |

I adore the ducklings and the center duckling has a fabulous expression. The blurred mom is a bit distracting, but she can't be cropped out, as her reflection runs into her kids.
The mom might be distracting since she is going a different direction from the ducklings. It might be interesting to flip her, and see if that unites the subjects better.
Bravo on getting very low to get the shot! |

Terry, Wow, interesting they put these on the beach! I like your reflection work. What is the green stuff, seaweed? It looks a bit unnatural and distracting, maybe darken a bit.
I like the sky in your original. I might add more interest to the sky by moving your original clouds into the cropped version or painting some.
Bravo for picking an unusual subject and working it! |

Wow, Beijing is going modern from my only visit in 2000. I love the shape and the woman moving adds a lot in perspective and interest.
I agree with you that it needs more contrast. I would use Nik Silver Efx Pro, but we have some amazing monochrome artists in our group, so I'll wait to hear what our group experts say! |

Sunil, a very different photo from you! It seems overly bright on my screen. I'm interested in the technique you used to "light the interior" of the chili. The giant chili is quite interesting. |

I like the changes you and Sunil made to it. I like your later colors more than your first processed piece. Once again, I like you looking around for new things to shoot. Sunil has done a great job showing you about straightening the walls, which is critical in architectural and linear work. Nice job! |
