69 Aug 17 Comment The water frozen on his face is incredible! And you can see it from another perspective in the perfect reflection! I love the legs and the split tail. Amazingly clear given 500 nm and 800 ISO! Spectacular. I'd love to have shot it. Aug 15th
69 Aug 17 Comment Chuck, thanks for the info on the Dobies! I like the color lines of sand to greeen to blue. Here's a thought to direct your viewer to the rain storms...just crop down from the top so we see less of the gray clouds and see more of the blue squalls. That makes the hills on the left more prominent, also. Aug 15th

69 Aug 17 Comment Candy, do you teach classes? I'll be in Ft. Lauderdale Christmas week, staying on Singer island. I'll also be in the Orlando area from mid Feb to mid- March. Aug 12th
69 Aug 17 Comment Candy, Awesome as always! So restful and delicate--especially when we see so many over-saturated, vivid pix today. I'd love to know what mask format you use on your bird to change the background--even the tiniest long trailing feathers were captured. I'd also love to know where you got this gorgeous background. 69 Aug 17 Comment What??? You got this detail with a Canon 100-400 handheld? It looks like a macro pic! Spectacular shot, the wings are feather-light with detail, and its not one of those creepy bug photos that women hate.

I wonder what everyone thinks about Pierre burning the edges down a tad? There is a lot of light behind the dragonfly.

69 Aug 17 Comment Thanks, Candy! I was worried that would make it flatter, but I think your changes were small enough that didn't happen. I'm not familiar with ACR filter? I'd love your explanation. Aug 12th
69 Aug 17 Comment Gorgeous sun! Are the birds a bit caught in the glare? If so, cleaning them up might add to the pic. Aug 12th
69 Aug 17 Comment Love this! I actually love the little trees, as it adds foreground. I don't have any suggestions for changes. Awesome! Aug 12th
