Nicely done! Beautiful colors, lots of interest in the waves. I'm not sure you need all the top space above the bird, I might suggest cropping it to be on the Rule of Thirds right on the eye of the Dotterel. There are a couple very bright spots at the bottom of the pic, and I'd darken those, as they kept pulling my eye away from the bird. Perhaps a bit of vignette would remedy this. You have a catch light in his eye, but I would be tempted to enhance it just a bit. Nicely processed otherwise! |

Close to the original. I agree with Dean with the nice lines. But I love the blues behind the egret, which really makes it special. If you have a tad more stump for the bird to stand on, I think that would be helpful. Gorgeous feathers. Really beautiful! |

Gorgeous! So cool you can see him in the water! And I love the ripples framing him. Love the gold in the beak. No suggestions on how to improve it, its awesome. I always thought these birds in Florida were commorants, so glad to know the Anhinga "snake bird". |

Oh, I'd love to learn night photography! The church pic has more interest, but I applaud the nature effort! I am not sure how photographers process these, if a bit of sharpening and contrast would boost the intrest. But I have no skill set to be giving advice. Congats on getting the shot! |

What a lucky catch! Great pic, with the background in soft focus. Nice focus, fun moment. I'd be tempted to define his eye a bit more and if you have room, give him just a bit more room on the right. It feels just a tad tight to me. |
