I just love this! I agree with others that the other flowers could be seen as distracting. Burning down the edges may give you a more pleasing composition. Scott Kelby puts a radial filter on the flower and then darkens around it quite heavily. It's a dramatic effect. On the other hand, its a very pleasing just as it is!! |

Chuck, great walls and wonderful depth in this. I think the people work nicely as the subject. If we didn't have them, our primary subject would be a bit vague. I agree that some contrast to add even more dimension to the rocks would be good. The tree on the right is a tad distracting, but if you like it, it is not a major issue. |

Candy, I do love your background work! Tough to do with all those bird feathers! Really a great rendition. Has a real Audubon print quality. Love it and don't have any suggestions! |

I agree with Chuck and Mervyn on keeping the tail and I'd love to see a little more of the steps above the cub. I'd be tempted to erase a few blades of green grass to show off those adorable paw pads. His right cheek (on our left) has a big white dot. Not sure if its a bad touch-up or if he was wounded, but I might fix that. Very fun! |

Love your shot! I love the action, the catchlight, the wing lines and the complementary neck lines and leg lines. Sweet! The only suggestion I have is that the feet seem a bit bright, almost light a flash was used? If they look that way on your screen, I'd darken them a tiny bit. I actually like the foreground for more interest and would keep it. |

Chuck and Mervyn, I felt the left branch help frame the bird and create a leading line. My thought was to create a little more energy than a static bird photo. With that in mind, still remove it? Thanks for the feedback! |
