Wonderful action, story and composition. I love the birds' positions and expressions. Since you have relegated it to the second tier I would play with it. Perhaps lightening the background to produce a high key effect. I think it would make a grand fine art print. |

You have captured a tender moment. The soft colors, jigsaw-like shapes, textures and framing of the birds and nest by the branches are wonderful. Great nature story. |

Outstanding action shot. I see a second image within that is all about the eyes. |

Great story and composition. I love the way the cub on the left is eying his snack on the rock. The three red and white chunks of food pop out from the blue, green, gold and brown colors. The choppy water and patterns on the rocks add interest. This image is surely wall-worthy. |

Looking at this image I can almost feel my body swooping in for the landing. The piercing eyes caught my attention immediately. You have done a masterful job removing distractions and capturing the intense affect. This image is spectacular! |

Thanks for your comments and suggestions Mike. I got too close to the image and was lost in processing possibilities. I was undecided about that white bleached area. I will play with the image and try your and Ally's suggestions. It will be interesting to see the resulting effects. I am most curious about the effect of adding a blur, since the area is blown out. |

Many thanks Ally. I will try your suggestion of darkening the sky a bit. That might just do the trick.

I love the colors and high key feel of this image. The trees frame the bridge nicely, and the figure conveys its scope. The lines of the bridge, railing, and walk all lead to the figure and the light at the end of the tunnel. Great job outwitting the difficult light. |

This image conveys well the cold windy conditions you described, a bleak midwinter day. A powerful energy is reflected in the soft birds and crashing surf. I love your addition of the light ray. Its diagonal leads to the white crashing surf on the left which balances the white lamp on the right. The light tower legs are distorted as though they were reflections. What caused that? |

Nice variation on your interesting theme. Both the guard and visitor stare at bare walls, isolated. The guard, the water bottle at her feet and her expression add twists to imagined stories. |

Good energy and color contrast in this image. The green ghost adds mystery. There is a story in this photograph. |
