The outstretched legs, forward thrust of the head, and the powerful wings communicate the fierce determination of this architect. The light is marvelous; the bird soars from the dark mottled background with his building block. This image tells a story of life in the wild. It is definitely wall-worthy. |

Wonderful image. The patchwork nest is fascinating. The sharp features of the nest and birds and the depth imparted by the light and dark areas draw me right into the nest. It looks like the mother is offering an wooly worm impaled on its beak. Is that the case? If not I would address the illusion by darkening or removing the spot since you already removed other spots. If is is a worm offering I would lighten it just a bit for clarity. |

Wonderful image! I love the wild expression that these birds display. Their Dutch punk hairdos are marvelous. I cannot look at this image without smiling. The food is a bonus! I like the thatching and the green and brown colors in the background that mirror the colors in the bird, but they are too bright and therefore distracting. Since you have already tampered with the image, I would tone down the background. |

The intense expression and the soft warm swirls of color in the uncluttered background create a lovely portrait. I also love the original with the bird perched on the sign. He looks as if he is daring you to get out of the car and ignore the warning. |

I love this image. The water splashes, outstretched wings, expressions and reflections hold my attention, and tell a story. I would ease the crop to include the reflection of the head of the bird on the right as it provides pleasing symmetry. |

Thanks Peter. I got the eyes in other shots. I liked this one because of the amazing reflection of the eye in the moist pumpkin. |

Thanks Lauren. I do like high impact for very tiny things. I will try darkening the wing as you suggested, but I am glad that the wing seems OK to your eye. |

Many thanks Karl. I like your crop and color balance for a more natural look. In your version the reflection is more prominent, and I love that feature.

The diagonal curve of the tail feathers - body - beak form a great compositional element. One rarely sees the detail in the wings in flight displayed in this image. The abundance of foliage gives me the feeling of peering through dense foliage to discover a remarkable creature. In this image busy is good. |

Love the composition and concept. I prefer the black silhouette in the original to the detail in the processed image. I love the shape of the t shirt. I think the image would have more character if the shirt were blazing white. |

Fascinating creature. This is certainly a unique image that very few photographers could get. What is the size of this anemone? Did the water have that green cast? |

I love this Peter. Very creative. Whet generated the long striped triangle bottom center (black, green and yellow stripes)? |
