Thanks Ally. It is fascinating to me that some like the crop version that focuses on the leaves, and some like my original version with the dark diagonal and the constrasting light/dark. That is the real beauty of fine art. |

Thanks for your suggestion. I appreciate "outliers" for they generate creativity. I like both versions. |

YES!! I see a dancer too. Nature abstracts give our imaginations a delightful workout. |

I am immediately drawn to the symmetry of this scene. The path of the water and the tiny islands are fascinating. The colors and tones are lovely. Do you know the name of those wonderful orange trees? How far up from the river were you? Were you hiking or driving? I actually like the original sky. Great job stitching and editing. |

You are so fortunate to have cedar waxwings in your backyard. I have yet to see one. The berry in his beak tells a story. The catchlight in his eye and the detail in the feathers and foreground berries bring the viewer right into the scene. Here is a tiny suggestion: I would mask the brown triangular area within his open beak, and tone it down as you did on the rest of the background. |

There are many stories in this image. The smoky haze the vast barren seascape and beech, the loneliness of the hour, the muted colors of the sky, and the tiny moon that can be seen but barely through the smoke all hold my attention and prompt reflection. |

Fascinating abstract. I began my study of it by rotating it and seeing what emergen. Suddenly I saw a magnificent figurehead from an ancient warrior ship. The figurehead is that of a mythical woman with a triangular eye, a Greek nose and painted lips. Her hair is furled back by the wind as the ship races forward. |

Spectacular!! I like the detail in the open mouths, feathers and nest, the catch light in the eyes, and the mottled background. AND the story is great. |

Excellent wildlife portrait. I was immediately drawn to the animal's face: the ears, emerging antlers, nose and eyes-even a catchlight. The stance is wonderful. The detail in the fur is amazing. Your processing works very well. The hazy blue background complements the tan fur perfectly. This portrait is wall ready. |

Very striking image reminiscent of graphic art. I would try to bring out the shadows on the petals, and to sharpen the centers of the flowers in order to intensify the contrasts in light and texture. |

Technically fascinating. I really like the effect. You have created what looks to me like a time warp. Thanks for sharing this stunning effect. I cant wait to try it. |

Its an Abstract!! And a wonderful one. The colore, tones and clarity are pleasing, and it has many elements of icosahedral symmetry and I find intriguing. I like the orange version, but I LOVE the blue Original 2 version. It has depth and flow and mystery. I see an icy icosahedron in Statu Nascendi. |

My eyes were immediately drawn to the detail and clarity in this image. As I studied it a powerful story emerged that told of flowers of the field trapped in cultivation, and of one sunflower that managed to escape back to nature as represented by the bird. I really like this image. |

Interesting effects. The distorted rocks resemble ghost birds, their necks jutting forward, racing across the path to splash in a pond. The image is reminiscent of pointillism , but with huge points. I would try add a touch of clarity to intensify the colors a bit. |

Fascinating image! Your processing has created a very interesting abstract. I see a confluence of pretty parrots perched on platforms floating in space. Great observation and interpretation. |

Thank you Karl! Your crop and tweak do give the eyes less of a workout, and bring more attention to the rose. But, the crop eliminates the interesting (to me) illusion that the Rose is IN the vase which it is not. Also, I really like the blue. You have prompted me to reexamine this image. I find that I also like the original in which it is easier to identify the blue as a vase. So many ways to "see" a scene. |
