Marvelous image! The blur conves the bird's motion and creates an artistic effect. I especially love the drape of the wing closest to the viewer. The background bokeh is perfect. Thanks for posting this image. It is inspiring. |

Tack sharp flower. I would try leaving the orange flower in the blue cluster lower left, and the orange flower on the right closest to the daliah (?). Together with the orange center of the daliah they would form a nice triangular compositional element, and add color punch. |

Stunning scene! I love the low rolling mist and colorful sky. Mike's version does have more punch, but I prefer your crop as the pink/grey is very pleasing. Also in your crop the opposing diagonal lines of grey clouds and grey mountains converge to the right and lead the eye across the image. |

What a lovely place and image. The original image has a very painterly and ethereal appearance. The pine trees have halos. Is that a processing or HDR artifact? In your processed version the halos are diminished, while the painterly and otherworldly appearances are retained. For my eyes there are two subjects: when I first look I see the pleasing yellow strip of trees in the center, then I find the waterfall. Together with the line of rock they lead the eye up and to the right. How grand that you had the opportunity to photograph this magical place. |

Wonderfull waterfall. What software did you use to bring out those lovely colors, and sharpen? I actually like the water in the original better than the simulated silky water. What software did you use on the water?

Thank you Lauren. Indeed this image was meant as a statement of our condition. I was not familiar with the Prague statues. I will research them. |

I love backlit flowers. I would try a tighter crop like the one I attached. I would also try whitening the background more, and perhaps bringing out a bit more of the red. This will be a great card. OR--leave the crop as is and just lighten that dark stem on the upper right, and lighten the dark spots on the berries.

The colors are spectacular. The horizontal flip and crop generate a pleasing composition. The bird over the tree on the left adds a third element to the composition. I would match its color to the pink. The bird in the blue triangle over the pillars detracts from the image for my eyes, as does the added eye. Also the blue color of the triangle disturbes the wonderful minimalism of the colors. I really love the simplicity, both in color pallet and shape of the original. |

Excellent clarity. I love reflections and this one makes a particularly fine abstract. The colors are perfect for Halloween. The black streak just right of center is reminiscent of a bat. |
