Fascinating image. It has qualities of a painting for a fantasy story. The water surface looks unearthly, almost like a sheet of strange material pulled over the underlying world - and the lighthouse at first glance looked like a spaceship. I love the composition, reflections and sky, and imagining the world it might represent. |

And he is winking!! Wonderful expressions on both birds. Great detail in the birds, and bokeh in the background. I would try to darken the background a bit, maybe reduce the highlights. A great story here. |

One of the beneficial consequences of our lockdown is being around and aware when wonderful moments like this occur. You are fortunate to have bluebirds in your yard. I have never seen a real one! For my eyes, very tired these days from too many ZOOM conferences, the green bokeh is a bit distracting. But seeing that bird with a worm in its mouth quickly draws my eyes to the focus of attention. |

The crop is great and the monochrome is perfect for showing the power of the water. I especially like the narrow stream of water pouring out of the "window" to the right of the main fall. I agree with others that a bit more contrast would be nice. |

Beautiful bird and great photo. The composition is wonderful on many levels: the backward-looking stare of the bird sparks the imagination; one wonders what he is sees, and the leaves point in the same direction. The green of the leaves is repeated in the feathers and further guides the eyes to the mystery at the left. A triangle formed by the branch, leaves, and bird caught my eye, and the triangle theme is repeated in the feathers, beak, and leaves. Your edited version is perfect. |

I love this image. It looks crystalline. The stars in the center look like reflections in a diamond. The symmetry is stunning, and the contrast, detail, sharp focus, and high key effect all combine to give a spectacular image. The perspective has indeed produced a totally unique image. How did you achieve the background? Did you carefully remove the stem and place the flower head on a white background? |

I love this image and the idea of the loosed strand of hair as a metaphor for the freedom for which we all yearn in our lock down. The patterns, shapes and play of light grab my attention and hold it as I attempt to formulate my own interpretation. In the end I conclude that I am watching a seahorse on a leash prancing about and leaving paths of footprints. |

The mix of textures and colors in objects of similar shape create a wonderful still life composition. I am not certain about the streaks. The composition and light are very artistic, and the streaks are actually a bit of a distraction. Was this shot through a window? |

The essence of Spring! What plant is this? The two branches are a bit too bright. I would mute them. Together they form an arrow that points right to the flower. The barely visible dark leaves at the bottom provide depth. How did you get the black background? What was the light like? Was the camera hand held? I like the head-on perspective. |

Stunning image! It could well be viruses coming in for the attach, or a new planetary system. The colors and detail are wonderful. How did you get the black background? I cant wait to try this process. Thank you so much for introducing us to it. |
