The colors and composition are wonderful! The reflection adds pleasing elements of symmetry, and offers leading lines that together with those of the mountains dray my attention inwards. BEAUTIFUL. |

Wonderful composition. The diagonal leading line is powerful. The white head is tack sharp and stands out vividly against the dark background. Its the eye that grabs my attention. All that being said, I love the original too. The long neck and curve are grand. The background on the original could be cleaned up and darkened. You have captured a great image with two great presentation potentials. |

The backlit wing against the dark background really pops. The water droplets and reflection add to the action. Both the wing feathers and water drops are in excellent focus. The composition is strong. Great catch of an action moment. |

What a fierce looking fellow. His eyes are piercing. I agree that the image is a bit soft. I like the vignette and background. The composition and color are great.

Great catch! I especially love the eyes on the dark kit. Both expressions are utterly playful. I think that darkening the upper background a bit would bring more attention to the red kit. Where do you see these little fellows, and how do you get close enough for a shot like this? I have seen foxes here in DE, but never the kits. I would love to add a shot of them to my portfolio. |

You have captured a magical wonderland. The trees and reflections are aglow. The rock creatures are smiling--or singing. The sharp moss in the foreground contrasts beautifully with the silken water. I can hear the music as I gaze. I would not change a thing. |

Welcome to our group Susan. I love the colors, contrast, and soft textures in your image. The striking black background gives the impression that the leaves and pod are free-floating in deep space. The pod appears to glow in several places as though a vibrant life form dwells within. You have produced a thought-provoking piece worthy of museum display. |

Facinating study in abstract symmetry. I like the colors. Is it the batmobile taking off from the palm of your hand, and leaving a broken heart behind? Is it penitent pleading for their life before the vengeful Thor? This image generates thought! |

What a wonderfully eerie image! Were you in a boat in a swamp; are those reflections? The bubbles on the branches suggest the surface of water. What lurks behind the branches? I love the simplicity of the image and its contrast to the complexity of interpretations. |

This fascinating image takes my imagination into outer space, and into an asteroid belt. The crisp distortions of the rain drop reflections add to the other worldly feeling I get upon viewing it. The varied sizes and shapes of the drops impart a three dimensional effect. The background bokeh generates mystery. You should pursue your idea of a series of these shots. |

I love the original image. It is indeed a place of mysteries and stories. The triptych format is interesting, and has quite a different feel. What was the rationale in flipping the left and right sides of the original? A consequences of the flip are that the left side of the house is cut off, and the ground does not line up in the three vignettes. I might try to retain the original orientation of the vignettes, and crop the right side of the house to leave the more interesting left side intact. Texture layers would be interesting. This wonderful image has many potential interpretations. |

Your image has drama and mystery. The monochrome presentation is very effective. One could write a powerful story based solely on the questions it provokes. I like the image as is, however, an experiment or two is always beneficial. Were you to darken the background, the subject's hair and lower clothing would blend more with the background and give greater contrast to her face. I also would like to see what happens if the background were blown out. You caught a fascinating moment. |

Thanks! I did try to scan it as an experiment. The leaf is ed and three dimensional. To get the scan I left the lid open and held a white board over it. The problem was that not all of the leaf was in focus. I will try again. It will be a different image, but perhaps interesting. |
