Thanks for your suggestions. On my monitor the snow doesn't detract from the bird. I am experimenting with different crops. I liked the original composition as it gives the bird something to look into, and provides more of the context. However, I am trying different versions. |

Thanks. I don't know what to say about the snow. It isn't blown out on my monitor. I will experiment with some cropping. |

Thank you so much. I love your adjustments! I tried to go that way in Lightroom, but PS really did the job. I will work on learning PS this summer! |

The bird is a very pleasant surprise. I missed it at first, but on enlarging the image I was delighted to find it. I love the silhouette. The treetops at the horizon have a noticeable halo that I would try to remove. I like the shadow of the tree branch in the original. It is lost in the edited version. I love the leading line formed by the clouds. It draws the eye to the upper right and opposes the backwards sweep of the tree branches. Where were you with respect to the tree? If I had another chance at this shot I would experiment with different angles, perhaps lower, to pull the tree branches away from the clouds and the trees on the horizon, and to produce a more complete silhouette. All that being said it is a stunning image. |

AMAZING image! I would not edit your adjusted version further. The bright and cloudless blue sky forms a perfect background. What is the moist white object on the uppermost branch on the right (a fish bit)? |

WOW! GREAT shot. You stopped that action right down to the water droplets. The bird is tack sharp, and the eye is piercing. I love how the rough water is sharp in the foreground and fades into the bokeh background. I would not change a thing. How close were you to this catch? |

Spring took its time coming to DE, and I too rejoiced at seeing the first weeds appear. I love the juxtaposed pods. I would try to shoot it at ground level. I thought the image could be a bit more colorful. I made some minor adjustments in Lightroom Classic CC: whites, highlights, vibrancy, dehaze, and then added a slight white vignette. Well, I cant seem to upload my edited image. It meets the size requirements, so I don't know what to do.

What a beautiful location. The image has a wonderful symmetry, and I love the colors. Altogether it has an artistic feel to it. The mountain peaks seem a bit harsh, and upon enlargement have a slight halo. I might try backing off on one of the adjustments. |

WONDERFUL image! The eyes are tack sharp, and the chick in the middle does indeed seem to be pleading just like puppies in training. The crop, background bokeh, and vignette are perfect. I hope that this image meets the requirements for Nature. |
