What a beautiful bird, and wonderful action shot. This bird is building a serious nest. The colors are VERY pleasing. I love the uncluttered simplicity of the composition. This image is gallery ready. |

Wonderful image. I love the colors, and the tack-sharp detail in the water ripples, bubbles, and the bird. The reflection is beautiful, and produces a pleasing symmetry. You have captured a magical moment. |

The road and parallel river form a great leading line that winds off into the distance. The composition is strong. I like the crop with but a strip of sky. You captured the haze well. I like the gradient of haze that is strongest in the sliver of sky. |

You have captured the chill of late late winter. The browns in the rocks and water look great against the blue shy. The white clouds contrast with the muddy "white caps" in the river which in turn add to the feeling of powerful motion. The river forms a great leading line into the trees. The rocks and trees in the foreground look a bit soft. I would try a bit of sharpening and contrast, especially for the monochrome version. How did you escape drowning or getting soaked? |

What a remarkable moment in time! The bird's tail points right the Iguana which in turn forms a line leading up to the bird. And the colors in the bird are found in the Iguana. I would try several adjustments to place more emphasis on the two creatures: reduce the highlights in the sky and background, fade the greenery surrounding the Iguana, sharpen and intensify the catch in the bird's eye. |

This is a powerful image. The starkness of the driftwood contrasts with the rising glow of morning; and the motion of the water contrasts with the anchored limbs. The reflections add an illusion of great depth that adds a feeling of foreboding to the scene. The driftwood's intersection of the horizon where the complementary orange sky meets the blue water creates an edgy effect that enhances the stark atmosphere. I am glad that you have a bit of beach in the image -- I feel much safer.
