Many thanks Sharon. I do not plan to use this image for competition, but rather as a learning experience. Thus I shall try the adjustments you have suggested. I must confess I have never used those tools--AND--it is high time I do. |

Many thanks for the visual feedback and suggestions for adjustments. I will try them. Regarding the removal of the vegetation you marked, I thought that that blade of grass framed the frog as it is parallel to the blades of grass on the lower left. On second examination I see that the blade of grass on the lower right near the middle serves the same purpose. What tool would you suggest to remove that vegetation? |

Thanks for your suggestions. As I said to Carol, in this shot I wanted the environment. I see now that I have competing elements. Clearly the frog is the main subject. Next time I will try to sit down to get the shot low, and to fill more of the frame with the frog. |

Thanks for your suggestions. I am always torn between cropping to highlight the critter, and not cropping in which case I present the critter in his environment. |

I LOVE this image! The expressions on the mother and her pup are hauntingly beautiful. The sharp lines of the bark contrast with the background bokeh. The foxes fur is fascinating. I see a bald spot near the tip of the tail, and bald patches on her rear and back. Do you think they are battle scars, or mange--or do foxes "molt"? Where was the photo taken? You did a great job editing out the interfering twigs. |

What a beautiful spot! I love the curve and the trees. I agree with the suggestions that the reflection be brought out more, and tone of the sky be adjusted. |

A GREAT action shot! You have very steady hands. Amazing how much their play resembles a fierce fight. The top forth of the image seems ta bit bright and draws my eyes away from the seals. I agree that this image might work very well as a monochrome. |

What a wonderful image! I can feel the heat and fury of those mustangs. I did not realize that mustangs were so fierce. The crop and the tones on the mustangs are great. The bright grass gives a bright early morning feeling. I am not certain that the dark sky works here. There still is but little detail with the darkening, and it seems in contrast to the bright grass.
