I like the composition and exposure. Suppressing the lighter flowers in the background works. Good start. |

It don't. I had to scratch the bottom to find something to whine about. Still a great shot. |

Yep, this place is haunting, isolated, and a bit spooky. I would not go past the doorway of that house. It felt bad. Even though I did not go inside, the place still sent me home with a tick stuck to me. (If you cook a tick in a microwave on high for about a minute, they look like pepper.) |

The colors and tones work for me. I like the composition. I think you did very well. |

Another winner. The only distraction I'd whine about is the skinny plant in the foreground. |

I looked again. I'm a dinosaur in this club of photographers.
You did a good job with this. Maybe next time, a little more detail in the island. |

It is a great image. Excellent blending of tones. Re: the spots: Yep, I have the same problem with my D800e. I've cleaned the sensor 6 times at home and the spots are still there. I tested with different lenses. My problem is in the sensor. Going to have to send my camera into Nikon for service. |

I like the shot. Good blending of colors and tones. I would like to move the island back a few yards so there would be separation between the larger boat and the island. But, sometimes we take what we can get. If you have the opportunity to shoot this again, maybe put the camera about knee level and see what happens. Your shot makes me want to go there. |

Don,
I don't know the altitude, but the wide part of the image is about 325-345 feet. The Drone camera has the same angle of view as a 24mm lens on a 35mm film camera.
My home is on the far left. I put in too much grass for this location. But, being a Seattle transplant, one doesn't always pick up on the water conservation protocols in a timely manner. At least I have a pump connected to an Irrigation Utility and 1 acre foot of water ration per 5 month season. Things run well enough....when the Utility does its part, which is .....sometimes. |

I like the tones, they work well. The composition works, also.
I bought a LumeCube strobe for my Phantom. The only place I could mount it was on top. So, there's no help for me tracking the drone at distance. Rules notwithstanding, I fly the drone up to a mile away, sometimes. In this terrain I have to go high (sometimes 400 feet) to keep radio contact with the controller. |

Good job. What Lisa said, and if possible burn in the whites on the boat. Otherwise, a definite winner. |

Lisa, I think the shot would benefit from a different camera angle. Are you up for flying back there and photographing on a bias from 10 feet above the cab height? |

Lisa, yep. This plat was developed on the cheap. There are only 14 Lots in the Plat. We have to support the road, well, water system repairs, State imposed administrative costs associated with the well system, "Fire Wise Landscaping", and a few other costs with dues from 14 Lots. We are also sweating out whether or not adjacent land will be developed. If it is developed, the road access is through our plat. I don't want to see paving destroyed by heavy equipment trucks.
I'm trying to sell a dues increase to $100.00 a month, but it's tough. On the other hand, we are 5 miles out of town, and enjoy quiet nights, wild game munching on our landscaping, farms surrounding us, so sparse population; and a decent enough view.
