Great image. Have you worked this scene in a lower light level with a much longer exposure time (say 30 - 60 sec.)?

Thanks. I am drawn to these old relics. It is almost a spiritual experience to be there. Based on the rate of decay in this climate, I guess this one has been vacant about 50 - 60 years. My worst disappointment is the buildings are always trashed on the inside. |

Great shot. The vegetation in the L. foreground gives the needed sense of depth. I do wish there was a bit more of it. |

Nice composition. Seems a little dark and contrasty along the shoreline. Did you play with it in PS or something similar? |

I like the composition, but the scene seemed a little hot for me. Copied your pic. Played with it in CS5.1 by tone mapping with HDR Effex Pro 2, and tweaked the contrast. I did not play with the exposure. Here's what I got.

Nice fringe benefit. Everything works in this one. Colors, shapes, lines, and humor. Nicely done. |
