33 Dec 20 Comment That sagebrush is about neck tall, and sturdy stuff. It is a chore just to walk through it.

In the old days (1850's to early 1900's) the Pioneers and Settlers who came here from the eastern U.S. tried to raise cattle in this environment. I pity the horses that had to work through that stuff. 		Dec 13th

I am not aware of any gardens of this caliber in Washington State. We certainly do not have a water feature like this in Kittitas County.

A childhood friend's Father served his WWII Army time as a guard at one of the Internment Camps, which held the Nisi. It took me close to 40 years to appreciate and (really) understand why he was so critical of the Army and the Federal Government during the 1960's.
