Wish I had shot this on a 200mm or longer. The idea was to show a confrontation between the tractor (the past) and the home (change). Someday, I'll go back with longer glass and the tripod to try the theory.
Change is inevitable. The pressure for homes in Kittitas County is increasing. As prices rise and more people are willing to pay it will become economic to redevelop. The first chore is to acquire water and then get a rezone to 4 or 5 homes per acre.
Seattle is going the way of Detroit. People will bail out, just like I did.

Yep. Me too. HDR must be a bit like IR. The photographer is never in complete control.....eh? |

I guess I'm just an environmental type guy. Not sure what "grunge" should be. This subject might have potential cropped and rendered in monochrome, but that would eliminate the HDR work. Yep, the grass is a little over cooked. |
