The red drum shaped object is part of the headstone.
I tried this in black and white, but it didn't work for me. Maybe if I'd shot it on Tri X with a couple of filters....?

Matter of taste, I guess. The shot has a pastel feel to it, which I think makes it more friendly and inviting to the viewer. |

To your question to me, above: The image colors are so saturated that to me, it feels over cooked. I'm ignorant of the subject, so don't know what "normal" for this place looks like. |

Good combination of colors. The light rays really help the image. I'd dispose of the white building in the right edge, however. |
