33 Mar 17 Comment Thanks everyone for the suggestions and comments. If anyone is ever in the Seattle area give me a buzz and I will take you on a trip to this gorgeous Mountain and to my favorite of all..Mt Rainier Mar 18th
33 Mar 17 Comment Love this composition but just think it needed a tiny bit of pop and to bring out that gorgeous piece of history. Mar 11th
33 Mar 17 Comment Welcome Sherryl! Love this image...only one thing to me would make it perfect..wish the baby was looking into the camera. I think it would be wonderful with the two women looking away and the baby looking towards the camera. But even still I really love it. Nice work! Mar 11th
33 Mar 17 Comment Yay for the great house news!! Love the nice mellow tones in this image. Very soothing to the eye! I too would crop that snowy peak on the right. You don't see enough of it to make it work. The center mountains are the focal zone and this area is lovely. Mar 11th
33 Mar 17 Comment Hi Bob..I didn't know you lived in Seattle! I live about an hour south in Graham! We are almost neighbors!! Anyway, I think Sherryl is right on both counts. I think some contrast especially in the sky would add a lot to the image. Did you try this in B&W? I think it would look very cool in monochrome with a little glow effect. Mar 11th
33 Mar 17 Comment I don't usually go for these colors but I really love the mood of this image..it is cold and eerie feeling. I also like the way it seems like there is layers in the image from the bottom all the way to the row of trees. Very nice! Mar 11th
33 Mar 17 Comment Hi Larry,
I really like the multiple layers of rock...great composition. My only thoughts would be to decrease the luminance on the green trees in the middle of the image as they look a bit hot. Did you try cropping the bottom trees out? Just a thought but either way I really like this image a lot!

33 Mar 17 Comment I took this image last summer before I really knew what HDR was so I guess I will need to go back this summer and try again. I was using a 24mm, f1.4 for 22 sec so the milky way looks great but the foreground is too dark and noisy. I will try cropping but like the idea of going on another Mt Saint Helen's outing...look for a redo in a few months! Mar 11th

40 Mar 17 Comment Thanks for all the positive feed back. I will lighten the house a bit. I do believe the image is level bu
t the rocks are not. I think it throws the eye off.

40 Mar 17 Comment I think the rocks in front of the lighthouse are higher than the structure making it seem not quite level..not sure how to fix that. I have in other edits of this image brightened the house up and made the spot light a bit brighter. Thanks for the suggestions! Mar 18th
40 Mar 17 Comment Jamie love the subject matter. Great old car! I wonder if you already cropped this image on the left? Seems a bit tight on that side..the right is OK. Andrew said it well...the image needs some pop. Contrast and some color saturation would make this image hum! Mar 18th
40 Mar 17 Comment Nice view point Bai. I love your city scenes. This one needs a better time of day as Andrew said. The lighting just isn't there. I too, would crop a lot off the branches on the left and maybe use the bridge as your subject. They are just too distracting. If this view is close to your home I would go back at sunrise or sunset and recompose a bit. I think then you could have a winner! Mar 18th
40 Mar 17 Comment I like this a lot Henry. Before I read your notes I was wondering what this person was doing in the middle of NOWHERE! I do think you need to crop the sky about half way down and I agree with Andrew take out that solar panel. I think it ruins the mood...too technical for the middle of nowhere. Mar 18th
40 Mar 17 Comment I really like the feel of these Image Andrew. The mood is so mysterious and maybe a little spooky too. I like the leading lines as well as the gorgeous light. I do agree with Susan and would crop just a bit. Otherwise not sure how this can improve. Great shot. Mar 18th
