Hi Bob. I love old abandoned houses and this one is very cool. I agree with Paul on two counts the fence acts as a barrier to seeing the subject and the image is very bright. Harsh light of midday I suspect..can't change that. I think I would do a vintage looking conversion or B&W with a lot of contrast in the sky to see those great puffy clouds better. |

Hi Lloyd. I lived in the Northeast almost my whole life so I know how rich the fall colors can look. I think the trees in the background look beautiful but the area just on the other side of the river has a purple tint to it..wonder if that's what Paul sees. I like the composition..it is peaceful to me and I do love the Autumn colors. |

Hi Larry. Beautiful composition..love the rolling waves. I don't get the warm feeling of sunrise. I think I would play with the color and tone a little bit to give it a more warm, rich feeling so that you know it is sunrise. The only other thing I thought was how awesome this image would look in B&W. |

If you have Lightroom you can increase the blue luminance and/or decrease saturation.

Jamie I like the simplicity of this image and the contrast between the stark white sand and the brilliant blue sky. I have two comments..did you use a polarizer on the sky? It looks very dark..perhaps too dark. Second I would consider a crop just below where the line is in the sand. I am just thinking to split the image into thirds..one third sky, one third grass and one third sand. Just a thought but it is already a nice image! |

Hi Henry. This image makes me shiver! I prefer your original as it has more contrast and pop. I like the colors better too. The post processed image just looks washed out to me. |

I really like this Susan. Love the colors and the pattern. I think I would crop the left a bit. I love the purple color but don't like the plants being cutoff like that. Otherwise really nice image! |
