Re: pipe. Well, I did it on purpose. Without the pipe the image would be "too" sweet, I think. From time to time I like to leave some "disturbing" element in the image to promote discussion. Beside, with the pipe it is more "realistic". One more thing. You can't see it but there is a power line somewhere there, too. |

When I look at it just now I have the same feeling, I should tilt it to the right. |

I agree. The background it too strong and too bright. It make image flat. I suggest you should play with light and shadow to make image more dynamic, better DOF. Horses are perfect. |

Very nice, positive thinking animal. With a straw. Good detail and color. |

First I would say I agree with Marti. Original has more DOF and final image is a bit flat, but on the other hand I like it as it is with "halos". It makes it more romantic. |

It is unfortunate you could not take your camera with you. Now we can see the difference between the cameras. I would propose, as a second camera, Sigma DR1M or Ricoh GR 2. They are small and capable. |

Thank you, All. I agree I could make some adjustments. It was a family trip so I did not have all time at my disposal but I managed. Not far away from this location, when working with Graflex i was surrounded but a group of men on motorcycles. I didn't know how it will finish. They were circling around for a long time. I was afraid I would loose my cameras but they suddenly vanished. |

Very nice! And very sad in the same time. Good illustration to the book about love. I would agree with Albert and try to open shadows a little. |

I agree, it is a sky-scape. I would make the mountains less "visible", lighter or so. Great! |

Very interesting. Great! Flowers look like deep frozen for electron microscopy. Unreal. |

I think, the foreground is very dramatic with a lot of contast and texture. So, I would make the background less intensive. I miss middle tones, all greys are gone. Otherwise very interesting. |

If it is meant an "old" photo it is OK. With exemption for the shadows (left and right). I would crop out on the right to put more attention to the wheel. If you meant it as a "modern" photo than I would add more contrast. |

It is very interesting. Especially the difference in texture between the foreground and the background. I see the division but I like it. It is exiting. One could say it is 2 different pictures put together. Still it is great. |

First I prepare the image. Than I leave the room and look at the image in the mirror. After a while I turn it 180 degrees to fool my brain. In the end it shows that it could be done better. Thank you, All, for comments. They are the meaning of this group.
