I agree, woman in pink is distracting. I did not see her when making the photo. |

"Street photography" in the landscape. Great timing! Looks like teacher collecting pupils at school. Lesson will start soon. Very nice soft light. |

Great job. It looked hopeless. To make correct photo against light is not an easy story. God Bless, we have PS. And an interesting, little risky, composition. Sun as first, horse as second, in the end it is great. |

Very rural, very true. Like a painting. Interesting composition with the tree on the left which makes the photo deeper. I would add, romantic, picturesque.

Thank you, Marti, for information. Not so long ago I realized that, when shooting photos, I promote story, not the image, which is absolutely non-photographic. That's the problem. My friend, professional photographer, doesn't see any story in the photos he takes. For him it is black color and white color (light) plus composition. So, in many cases, I have to "control" myself, when photographing. |

Hi, I agree with you. There are small problems here and there. I got this shot from a distance but I was sure that the men playing there were irritated by my intrusion and wanted me out of this part of park. This I like in the photo, his irritation. For me, the most distracting is the woman on the right. To make the photo really "pure" would push me to rearrange almost everything. So, I would agree with Joseph's point of view. It is a story. But, a perfect photo it is not. |

I could crop it on the right side, between the man and the tree. On the other side, position of this man is perfect. If I did the walking woman would gain. At the moment he draws attention. |

I would blur 30% of the image (the top part) to concentrate on the front wagon. And perhaps brighten the other 30% of the image (the low part). It should help. Otherwise great texture photo. |

I agree with Jack but technically, did you use continuous shooting? Great photo! |

Soft and hard, here too, I would say. LOL. Beautiful girl with beautiful Yashica. Almost white tone of the chair is a fantastic idea. Great! |

First, I tried to compare yr color photo with b-w. The color one is"as usual", and b-w is great. Totally different. I found it out some time ago and generally try to convert any photo to b-w to see how it looks like, and this way try (eventually) to get best of it in color. Great photo, Jack, congratulations.

Darrell, It is true. I wanted to get this photo from black to white, stretch it as much as possible. |
