22 Jan 17 Comment I try to make this photo more interesting. I thing it is better, now. The leg is still a problem. What do you say? Jan 17th
22 Jan 17 Comment Thank you, all. Jan 15th
22 Jan 17 Comment Very interesting technique, great job! Jan 11th
22 Jan 17 Comment Great job! Jan 11th
22 Jan 17 Comment The last version is the best one. This typical but difficult situation shows that you would need Tilt Shift Lenses. Jan 11th
22 Jan 17 Comment I love humor in this image. Perhaps neck could be darker, otherwise perfect. Jan 11th
22 Jan 17 Comment I started with original. Light background corresponds well with light on the wings. It was a good decision to make it darker but on the other hand the bird looks a bit isolated just now. The light has no continuation anywhere. Still, it a great job. Jan 11th
22 Jan 17 Comment For it is a beautiful shot. The black background makes it even better. Fine job. Jan 11th
22 Jan 17 Comment Marti and Jerry, I agree. I could crop in on the left side Jan 11th
22 Jan 17 Comment I have recomposed the photo. It is true, the composition would be better after moving the leg to the right. I don't publish the resulting image because I don't have time, at the moment, to totally remake it. Thank you for suggestions. Thank you Raymond, you were first to point it out. I try to repeat this shot if I ever again be in Venice. Question is if the lens I have would be enough. Jan 7th
22 Jan 17 Comment Thank you Mike, if we look at the stock photos from Venice showing these horses (it is a well know shot) we would not find one showing the horses and the bell. I could not find one. I wanted to have a bell in perspective, to get the bell between the hoof and the leg, shooting up. I agree it distracts the other horse but we have bell instead. The photo is not manipulated in Photoshop but I try to change it over week-end and send you a new proposition.
Here comes some examples found in photo agencies: (http://www.alamy.com/stock-photo/st-marks-horses.html) (we have no bell) and (http://www.masterfile.com/image/en/700-00477111/The-Four-Bronze-Horse-Statues-in-Front-of-the-San-Marco-Basilica-San-Marco-Venice-Italy) (http://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-torre-dellorologio-and-bronze-horses-from-basilica-balcony-piazza-96341121.html). This angle is very difficult. I will try it again, if I will be there again.

22 Jan 17 Comment Yes, I am on Apple. Shall I resend the photo? I was reseized and save in PS6. Jan 4th
22 Jan 17 Comment I think it could be better if I would remove the light from the right leg of the foreground horse. I see a slight problem with the leg distructing the head of the second hourse. But if I changed the engle I would miss the bell. Jan 4th
22 Jan 17 Comment Raymond, the photo is take from a balcony. You are right, I would need a drone but on the other hand composition is OK. Jan 4th
22 Jan 17 Comment Thank you Marti. Jan 3rd

47 Jan 17 Comment Ed, I am not sure. I should try to make left side darker? Jan 15th
47 Jan 17 Comment Great photo, I would move the man closer to the left and crop the right. At the moment I cropped it other way. Jan 10th
47 Jan 17 Comment Great photo but I would crop the top. Why it is so unclear (heavy)? Can you show color version? Perhaps make the top lighter (or try darker). Jan 10th
47 Jan 17 Comment Hi-end photo. Impressive. The only thing is palms. They "fly", they are not attached. Jan 10th
47 Jan 17 Comment Ed, I like close compositions, so I would crop it. My proposition is attached. Jan 10th
47 Jan 17 Comment Very nice curves and detail. Did you add grain? Jan 10th
47 Jan 17 Comment I agree, I should not leave the hanging part. I darkened the left side, it looks like not enough. Jan 10th
