22 Nov 24 Reply I tried more contrast, but it didn't look right, so I reduced it. Nov 20th
22 Nov 24 Reply The vignette appears heavy with this post. I will get that resolved. I purposely, centered the moon…sometimes it's fun to break the rules!! Nov 20th
22 Nov 24 Reply This was a gift for sure. I was on top of a rock structure and glanced up to find the moon rising. I quickly decended and scrambled to find a good composition. Nov 20th
22 Nov 24 Reply The moon was rising and the sun setting. Nov 20th
22 Nov 24 Reply I believe the moon was 98% waxing on this day. Nov 20th
22 Nov 24 Comment Great capture. It would have been nice if you had captured him looking at the scene, but what you have works. I have two suggestions. One is to remove the one branch that touches the mountain. I believe this will open up the frame a bit more. The other is to add a light vignette. To the entire scene. Nov 20th
22 Nov 24 Comment I call this a jackpot image….S curves, colorful actors and nature all packed into one. I suggest the crop be lowered to capture the start of the S curve (to the right of the lower right tree). I think this will add balance to the scene. I do a little contrast, saturation or a glow will enhance it nicely. Nov 20th
22 Nov 24 Comment I like the sky replacement you selected. I do feel it is overly saturated. The branches appear to be out of focus. Perhaps this resulted from the texture applied. I do like the version Jerry applied to create better balance. Nov 20th
22 Nov 24 Comment This is a lovely scene. I like the leading lines throughout the scene. The reflection is spot on. It does have a green tint, but it sounds like you have that figured out. I prefer the people out of the scene. I'd also like to see a little bit more room at the bottom. Perhaps add some canvas. Nov 20th
22 Nov 24 Comment Yes you get the bonus points! You did an awesome job for the first time. I agree with the other comments about the turtle. I wonder if applying a Gaussian blur to it would do the trick. Nov 20th
22 Nov 24 Comment The rose has been captured with finesse. The texture and delicate petals are nice and crisp. The color balance is very nice. I agree with Peggy, that some of the petals on the bottom are a little shaggy and can be smoothed to perfection. Nov 20th
