Thanks for the compliments. I took this outside standing next to a snow coach. The coach driver was an avid wildlife photographer and lived near the park. Sadly, he was mauled by a grizzly this spring and did not survive. |

I did not try this crop, but I kind of like it. I'll pull it up on the big monitor and check it out. |

Since the butterfly is a bit soft, I think framing it vertically with the foliage will enhance it. Perhaps sharpening it a bit will bring out some of the details in the wing. Otherwise a fun capture. I tried photographing butterflies and hummingbirds and decided I don't have the patience to wait for the perfect shot. |

A fun story and capture. I can't believe how clear the glass is and offered a realistic shot. It looks like the man is standing in the water with the dolphin. I like the colors in the finished image and the clarity of both subjects. I am on the fence with the part of the dolphin left in the water above. If it were me, I'd clone it out. |

I agree with most comments made. The one thing I remember Thomas Mangelson saying in my first workshop is the most important part of a wildlife image is to ensure the eye is sharp. The eye of the elk does not appear to be sharp. The contrast and saturation take away the real lifeness of the image. |

I echo Joes comments. I suggest changing the crop to include the entire body and a section of the dock. This will add a nice angle to the image. Otherwise, a sweet capture! |

Bazinga!!!! The eye of the bull is tack sharp with a nice catch light. The fall foliage does a beautiful job of framing the moose. I would love to see the moose's body lightened a bit. It may be my eyes but those Tetons look a little tipped to the left. It could also be the angle of the moose's body. |
