Thanks for the feedback. A 24x36 of this print hangs in a local bank now. This image came to mind when I got the email from Marti about the night image and didn't recall the part about no clouds. |

I agree with Jerry's comments about aperture and shutter speed. The moon is moving rapidly And long telephoto lens is why a faster shutter speed is needed. A tripod and cable release is a must. I'd play around with the contrast, highlight and sharpen sliders to achieve a sharper look. Kudos for your for trying!!! |

I really like the finishing touches you made to the image. I like the reworked image creating symmetry, but have to agree it does not tell the story as well. I would crop on the right to eliminate the two pieces of column that aren't connected. |

Photographing lighted balloons can be very tricky. I prefer the image to be straight instead of slanted. The bottoms of the balloons are super bright leading my eyes directly to them. I would have cropped the bottom more and cloned out the object above the middle balloon. |

Cool idea. I agree a little motion and the hands not so sharp will really enhance your ghostly idea. |

I like the sepia version best. It offers a vintage look. My first glance was a cafe from the 50's. The focal point for me is the sign and then I am lead along the curves of the structure and then to the other angles of the cafe. I think you chose a good angle to shoot from. My suggestions for improving is to add more of the building on the right and bottom and darkening the lights just a little. |

It reminds me how soon Christmas will be here!!! The angles of the house and arrangements of the lights offers a nice warm feeling. The brightness of the lights and shadows on the garage and reindeer is where my eye goes first. I suggest darkening the real bright areas. Being able to see the left side of the garage and roof top would Also enhance the composition. |
