When I set out to photograph this waterfall I had intentions of capturing the milky way above the falls. Even with all my planning Mother Nature chose it's course and provided a very light mottled cloud covering. The reason I named this Phantom Falls is because of the Phantom Rock that sits next to the falls. Once the park reopens I will set out to capture it again. Thanks for the feedback!! |

Your creativity in PS never ceases to amaze me. I like the end result. I like how the specular highlights of the water lead my eye to the city skyline. The highlights almost form a heart shape. I will suggest the sky needs darkened a little so the focus is more on the water. |

I will tell you a little secret that will allow the colors to be adjusted separately. Tony Kuyper has developed TK7 Actions with a luminosity mask that has a color picker. It does an amazing job and I think could solve the color separation. |

The composition is nice. I like Joe's rendition, but if you keep with the original, I will suggest toning down the highlights in the background and cropping the lower left. It definitely has a watercolor feel to it, so playing with some filters may be fun as well. |

I really like the color choice, which is complimentary. I will suggest cloning the white spots out, but leave the crop the same. Well done! |

This image rocks!! I have tried capturing water swirling out of a wine glass and had no success. It sounds like perseverance is the key. I love the discussion this brought on as well. I agree with cloning out some of the water at the end of the birds beak and the ring caused by the wine glass. The right to left, or left to right comes down to the creators preference. I will suggest the image be tilted just a bit so the lines behind the bird are straight. |

I too love reflections, so I spent some time thinking of this image. I believe the tree trunks are the subject, so I would focus on lightening them up a little and adding a little contrast. I would darken the leaves so they create a frame around the trunks. The image has a painterly look to it, so I would play with one of your topaz filters or the oil filter in PS. |

My original version was cropped with more focus on the waterfall, but it just didn't fulfill my vision. I'd love to show more on the left, but there is a tree that blocks that opportunity. One of these days I want to return with my waders and see if I can capture more to the left. |
