I was torn with several shots that were close in like you cropped, but I liked including more of the setting and framing the falls. |

I did not use a polarizer. I have learned not to use them, because of the dappling affect they create. The sky was very boring, so I darkened it with a brush and gradient tool. I see that I need to touch it up a bit more. |

I echo the other comments and have to ask what is the subject? The flowers or the roof. |

I just love when I capture an image and only need to kiss it with a bit of touchup. I also love rocks. My eyes start in the bottom left and angle up to the first curve in the rock and then gently hop over to the large curved rock and then slide down the trunk and off into sunset. Simply elegant capture!! |

It appears you accomplished what your vision was to capture the stamen. It is totally in focus with the petals a soft focus. The stamen color is a bit off and i suggest giving the petal at the bottom a little bit more room from the edge. |

A beautiful piece of art. A fellow photographer in my area created a similar piece with the solar eclipse and it has been his top seller. |

I echo all other comments, only I crop in between your shot and Marti's. I can still hear Jay Maisel asking in my first workshop....what is your subject? The butterfly is spectacular! |

The composition is nice with the horizon in the lower 1/3 of the image, placement of the sun is very pleasing with a subtle color palate. The overall image appears soft and not sure if this is the filter that was used. The two saguaros on the far right are too close to the edge, so I suggest cropping them out or extending the canvas if possible. |
