I like the cropped version the best, but I'd like to see a little more space to the right of the hippos leg. I'd also try lightening the shadow that falls on the standing hippo. I agree the highlights on the others face needs darkened . Since Hippos are slow movers, I wonder if this shot could have been bracketed to be able to manage the highlights and dark shadows? |

Good catch Jose! I missed the stem. I will try the vignette. |

I agree with Bob's comments. I feel the image is caught in the middle of blurry and wavy. Trying the filters Bob mentions just might be the ticket to create the true affect you were looking for. |

The background competes with the Madonna. I would darken the background, give the Madonna some headroom and clone the bright area on the face. I'd also lighten the chest area to bring out the texture. |

I am a waterfall geek and this one is a beauty! The original image caused my brain to hurt a bit because of the way the falls were flowing right to left. I really like the final version you posted and agree the fall colors need darkened just a smidge and you will have a fabulous photo. |

Beautiful leading lines! I don't have any additional comments. I do like the final post! |

This image has some nice leading lines beginning with the building in the bottom with the angular roof line leading to the next building and then across the bridge and eventually to the towers. The actor is the city as a whole and find multiple anchor points. i like the HDR affect and have two suggestions. One is to lighten the towers and second is to add a blue hue to the sky. |
