Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
25 Sep 20 Comment I would say you had a successful day when shooting this image. The small amount of stem and the included green leaves really make this image stand out. Love the black background to help simplify. A .027 inch border in PS was added, what do you think? Welcome to the group!

25 Sep 20 Comment Great capture, you must have been there for a while to get the
subject just in the right spot to complete this image. This may also work as a Black and White image (grey border added to bring the eyes back into the middle). I also used Adobe Camera Raw to increase the exposure and shadows for the bee and increased highlights around the outer edges.

25 Sep 20 Comment Nice capture in my opinion. Assuming your camera was on a tripod, maybe experiment with different shutter speeds to get various silky water looks. A ND filter can be added so that a lower iso can be used while still having slower shutter speeds. Try shooting at 100-400 iso and 1/4-1/2 sec (a 6 or 10 stop ND filter may have to be used). Sep 22nd
25 Sep 20 Comment Totally agree with Audreys composition, makes it more interesting. Nice capture Ruth.

25 Sep 20 Comment Love these colorful flowers. The center of attention is in nice sharp focus. The green blade seems distracting to me. It could be moved out of the way next time? Here is my cropping for a different perspective. The upper left pedal was removed and a cropping done (both in PS). Sep 22nd
25 Sep 20 Comment Since I'm late to the show, there are no other new suggestions other than darkening the top of the lupine (since it may be slightly out of focus anyway). I agree to cropping as tight as possible on the 2 stars of the show in the upper right area of your image. Focus stacking certainly helps this image. Nice job. Sep 22nd
