I see what you mean Eric. I think cropping the top portion out helps. I am not a big fan of cropping (as I feel it reduces image quality) but sometimes you can't always capture your final framing in camera...Thanks for the input. |

Wonderful image. Other than what has already been said, I might try painting in more yellow/orange in the cloud area and cloud reflections to add more warmth. This could be done through using the adjustment brush in LR. It could be cropped slightly but I am not a big fan of cropping too much as I feel it reduces the image quality. Nicely done. |

Wonderful story in this image. Definitely good impact created here. One of the first thoughts that came to me was I would like to see this also shot from a ground level view (including more of your daughter from head to toe), maybe something to try next time. Thanks for sharing. |

What a wonderful subject and I love the bright colors of the church. It does feel like this was cropped too tight as I want to see more of the bottom area, most likely there were people and/or objects that created this situation. The daytime image to me has much more impact, mainly from the great cloud action. Another thought on this image. If it is on a platypod I would suggest shooting with as low an ISO as possible (of course the shutter speed would have to be lowered). Nice image overall. |

I think the essence of winter was captured nicely in this image. I am fine with the cropping as-is but I feel that a little off the top would work as well. Maybe try painting in some white to the white reflected snow within the water to make that portion pop a little more. No other suggestions. Nice scene overall. |
