Thanks Vincent. The photo ball that I have weighs nearly 3 pounds and it fits nicely at the bottom of my camera bag (although it does start to get pretty heavy after a while). It was pulled out and inspected a few times while going through security at the airports. I did leave my 100-400 lens home because of bringing the photo ball:) |

Thanks Mark. A photo ball is basically a round piece of clear glass. They come is various sizes. You don't want to drop them (as I later did) :) |

To me the shutter speed gives this image a hint of being abstract which for me works very nicely. Any more or less would have changed the mood significantly. When I shoot I try to shoot multiple images with various shutter speeds and pick my favorite(s). Nicely done. |

Only suggestion I could add is to try this as a monochrome image. I like the patterns that this image has so it might focus more attention on that aspect by going monochrome (and maybe make sure to accentuate the light coming from the light poles). Nice image. |

Not sure I can add anything different to the comments other than I like those web lines and bokah on the outside part of the image. Hope your 4th of July was good. |

I can envision what this image is trying to portray. Love the shapes, lines and lighting. If it were mine I may experiment in monochrome and different ways to process this image. |

My first impression made me instantly like this image. After looking at this closer the elbow on the left keeps distracting my eye. If the raw image contains the full elbow I would suggest re cropping to add all the elbow. I love the choice to go monochrome. Another suggestion would be to use the radial filter in LR and try to add some extra rays of light coming in from the window and directed toward the table area. Nice image, a keeper for sure. |

Good to hear you made it to Yellowstone, you mentioned that after I posted a Winter image of a coyote (maybe the same one you have here?). Not sure I can add anything new to the suggestions already made. Generally since people read from left to right, having an animal move within an image from left to right may make the image a little more pleasing in that sense. Nice capture. |
