Love this image. I think you created great impact with the ostrich's eyes and mouth wide open. The 1/800 sec shutter speed seems spot on to make this tack sharp. You could try to darken the lighter grass area just to his left so your eye stays on the ostrich. Overall a very nice image in my opinion. |

I like really like the old world look of this image. It is amazing that the F2 gave you this much depth. Exposure seems spot on, I love the angle you chose and the processing seems nicely done. This might work as a black and white image as well. Great image. |

Nice image, great detail (good choice to use HDR to help with the detail). Nicely processed, I couldn't tell you had used HDR. Nice touch to have the shadow of the piece of wood sticking out near the top of the frame. You might see if this would work as a black and white image since it is mostly B&W already. Well done. |

Cool picture, sharp where I think it needs to be and the flowers stand out very well as your main subject. Thanks for sharing.

Is there such a thing as a "documentary" photo? If so, I think this does a good job of representing the scene of your mushroom find on the wood and thus documents your find well. Would be a nice photo accompanying an article. Interesting story of a mushroom I was not familiar with until now. |
