I keep going back and forth between the original and the final result. At the very least it is a bold attempt at 'abstracting' an image, but the final gives off a sense of a picture that is out of focus -- though I'm sure that was not your intent. Maybe this is because the lines are relatively sharp and the interiors of the petals are blurred. In Elements, there are several filters -- glowing edges, poster edges, and neon glow that can produce this effect, or one close to it. To me, the petals' colors look muddy and aren't all that appealing. |

The Smokies are great for picture taking, no? There's s beautiful image to be made around every corner. Yours is a well done reflection shot, and the rock in the foreground leads the eye to the ones on the right and then on to the center. Portrays solitude and taking a break from the hectic modern world. Great job! |

Cute picture and I like the contrast between the soft coat of the lambs and the harsh landscape they are sitting in -- different from the usual placement of the animals in soft hay or grass. It would've added to the composition, I think, if you could have gotten some face shots with the lambs in the background. |

This picture turned out well, with the textures and colors. You brought out the shadow detail. On my monitor the upper portion of the fender seems a bit too bright. Overall, job well done. |

Nice, evocative image, with a leading line from the wall. Being as how the wall is the main subject, it is somewhat dominated by the bright background. Interesting experiment with the foliage -- thanks for the lesson. |

Nice 'C' shape, the background is perfectly blurred, and nicely detailed. There is a halo around the beak, and maybe the eye should be dodged so as to bring out more detail. |
