Beautiful image. The textures are great and in particular the floor. Sense of loss and mystery as to who occupied the house, how long ago, and what events transpired to make them leave. |

Joe, this is a great composition. Unfortunately, I prefer the more natural feel of the original. The blue in the sky of the original appears truer although the rest of the final picture seems to have better saturation. But I like the way that your eye circles around the edges and then is drawn right into the middle of the picture. Maybe it is a bit too contrasty. |

Nice feel to this one. If you look at it a certain way it appears to be an abstract image made up of four parts; the darkest part is nicely counterbalanced with the lighter shades, especially the foreground. Again, if you don't examine it too closely, the trees could make up a shoreline, or there could be an opaque, low lying mist. Very nice. |

The key to this photograph, of course, was that I entered it yesterday, which was April 1st. Just tried to add a little levity! I'll send in my real entry shortly. |

I like your philosophical and spiritual approach to this picture and your use of symbolism. The bokeh is well captured, and of course the diagonal line adds to the composition. Maybe the light blue spots in the background are a little hot and draw the eyes away from the flowers somewhat. |

Nice, subtle conversion of a photographic image into a drawing. The tree line along the bottom frames the structures above it and gives the impression that the monastery is floating above, as if on clouds. The vignetting also works very well. This could be used as a religious greeting card. |

Nice picture and nice story, Mike. Just a suggestion: since the story is the interaction between the sheep, would a possible alternative be to crop in more closely?
