I can't think of anything to add that would improve this picture. Like Peggy's picture of the two dogs, I would think there might be someone who would be interested in buying this image. I find that I zero in on that blue eye before any other part of the picture and it helps to keep the face off center. To Joe's point -- I can't determine if the blue eye is too big, or if the cat was just starting to furrow its other eye. Great picture! |

Beautiful picture, one that she'll remember all her life. Because of the lens selection, you had perfect bokeh. I might've brightened up her face a little, but a minor point. Two portraits in one -- maybe you could title it "Two Little Lambs." Sorry, I do have this sentimental side to me... |

I like the way you cropped the picture. I also like the red and blue background colors that frames her face, mainly because they are pale and not saturated. I think you did well in your final treatment of her face. Overall a good result except for me the shadow on her left is distracting, and the blue strand of the blanket appears to be growing out of her hair. |

Very interesting face -- I like the "one eye closed" part of the portrait. A nice triangle formed by his hand, cap, and face. Perhaps if you cropped at the border of the white portion of the vehicle it would take him off center -- not terribly important. I did notice a white ghost line running along the side of his head (his left side). Interesting story and fine picture. |

Very nice picture, and a good job of selecting out the background. I love the pyramid aspect of the composition. The exposure is well handled. Perhaps the lower left hand corner of the image lacks some detail, but that could be my monitor. A 10 on the cuteness meter! I would imagine you could probably sell this to Westie owners or just dog lovers in general. The shadows bring out the form of the animals. |

Nice natural pose. What is the "rule" about two catch lights in the eye, if there is one? White shirt exposed perfectly, with a nice texture. Two highlights on the tip of the nose is a little distracting. Looks like Joe just finished an enjoyable night out on the town! I like that you didn't attempt to "enhance" Joe's teeth. |
