26 Mar 17 Comment There's just a little sliver of what appears to be sky in the upper left, directly above that transformer thingy...although it may be another apartment/home that is just lighter in color. Mar 13th
26 Mar 17 Comment That is just some beautiful scenery right there. The reflections in the water, for me, balance the scene nicely. I don't mind the rock on the bottom right as I think it grounds it. The only thing I see that is just a tad distracting is in the upper right-hand corner of what looks to be a branch in the clouds. Mar 10th
26 Mar 17 Comment Whew, now that's a lot of lines (horizontal & vertical)! The depth of field looks great...extremely sharp from front to back. It does create a bit of an eye strain for me. I find I really like the right side of the photo with the bigger arches it's easier for me to focus and I love the softness of the reflection as it gives my eyes a little rest. Mar 10th
26 Mar 17 Comment The colors on that building on the right really grabs my attention. I like all the angles and the line of windows with the orange reflection. I also like your crop from the original...my eye goes straight to the little window on the right towards the bottom. I think I would like it even more if the vehicles (bottom center) also cropped out. Mar 10th
26 Mar 17 Comment Those buildings look really rough. Makes me really appreciate my house and property. I like the colors and the textures of the buildings, for example the contrast between the 2nd story softer pink part vs the hard naked concrete of the portion below it. Underneath the little portion of sky that Bob was referring...is that a transformer of sorts? My eyes want to follow that electrical wire/line, but when I get to the blue the wires explode going all sorts of ways. I do like Bob's alterations. Mar 10th
26 Mar 17 Comment Your "winter" sounds about like mine in Florida...we've only had a handful of days that were around 32 degrees here in Northwest Florida. I really like the idea of taking something so simple, what most people would just step on or walk over, without taking notice. The color of the leaf was definitely enhanced, which I like much better than the original...it really pops. Even before I read how you did it, I noticed some rust coloring underneath the big leaf (remnants of the leaf cloned out). There is also a fuzziness around the stem and upper portion of the leaf that grabs my eye. Mar 8th
