1 Feb 23 Comment A winner! Not many photographers would think of focus stacking on an escalator. Very creative. You did a fantastic job of inserting the guy in front of you. This is sharp to boot.

50 Feb 23 Comment Many thanks everyone for the dialog. Always learning here. Feb 25th
50 Feb 23 Comment To my eye this is a fine art image worthy of wall hanging. That said, the vase and flower coule use a little more light. Love the story it tells. A lot of interest.

50 Feb 23 Comment Very interesting subject at a renaissance fair. The feet in upper left need to go. This image needs a title to explain what is going on. A title gives us a clue as to what you saw interesting enough to make the picture. I would not have a clue without your explanation. What is the little girl doing? Feb 12th
50 Feb 23 Comment Wow job in post processing of a very underexposed original. To me it fails only because the bird is not whole. Feb 12th
50 Feb 23 Comment Vines are the subject for sure. I think your post processing good. Adding a little contrast does make the vine stand out more. The old flaking paint on wood is interessting.

50 Feb 23 Comment Very well done with sharpness, contrast and, composition. Do not crop as you have balance left and right. Good work. Feb 12th
50 Feb 23 Comment Yes, a nice starting image for a composite. Suggest cropping to get rid of the soft corners. It would be nice know camera and lens information. It is very interesting. Feb 12th
50 Feb 23 Reply Thanks Cindy. Agree with your analysis. My version is more documentary in nature rather than pictorial. I do like your version. Yes, a little dodging would bring out the detail. Camea raw is not necessary to do that. Feb 8th

57 Feb 23 Comment Love the wood texture and the rusty hinge. Pretty neat you have paralleled the top right of the hinge. Makes a nice angle. Feb 25th
57 Feb 23 Comment Great blue color. Well done macro shot with interest. For help suggest a little mixing the tonic water just before tapping the shutter to give it some more bubbles. Your oringinal brings more to the story. If you booost the ISO a higher shutter speed could happen. Good work. Feb 12th

92 Feb 23 Comment Marianne, good eye with the iPhone. A perfect street image that tells a story.

92 Feb 23 Reply Not an infrared, just winter in the rockies. Feb 25th
92 Feb 23 Comment Good going Ian. This is what street is all about. I don't know how you get 35mm out of a 50mm lens on a full frame sensor. Your ISO is very very low for street photography. Try boosting the ISO to 800 or more, that camera can handle it without noise. Try aperture priority at f/8 or 6.3. Image needs a little contrast and convert to BW. The drummer is not bothersome. Feb 12th
92 Feb 23 Comment You sure caught the right moment. Good work. I cropped to bring the focus on the kids and not the surf. Sharpened the slight camera movement. Print would be good for the kids. Feb 12th
92 Feb 23 Comment Croppng removed the story telling aspect of this image. Looks like a homeless guy walking the streets of Hollywood. Seeing the street would make this a street shot. I would have included more of the kid on bicycle to help tell the story. Feb 12th
92 Feb 23 Comment What is going on here? The lady looks upset at the guy on the bicycle. Suggest a title helping tell the story. I like the origninal uncropped as it helps tell the story. Looks a little soft to me. Street scenes need to be tack sharp IMHO. Suggest boosting your ISO and shoot with apeature priority f/8 or f/11. Feb 12th
92 Feb 23 Comment Both grandma and grandson look comfortable in selling their wares. Agree with Ian the image is cropped a little tight. Personal preference is to make this black and white for street photography. Leave the color for our imagination and tell the story. Feb 12th
