Very creative and well done. For help I would dump the extra wide white border. 1 pixel would suffice. I still like it. Smiles. |

Good eye find and HDR capture. Personally, I like the clouds. I don't see a flying aircraft here. Leaving the overheard hole in the fuselage sort of balances out the bright windows. Brings context to the deteriorated seating. Color is best. Man, how would you like to sit in those for hours? Good work. |

Great find. Love these old cars. So many interesting aspects. Like the seat. I want to see more of the seat in a second picture. And those instruments on the dash. And, the door. You nailed the exposure with both outside and inside detail. Being a cloudy day did help. BW works best as that flag in the color version is dominating. The image tells a story. |

Mono really works best here. You certainly brought out the boat detail well. I like the water reflection. Composition is excellent. Lorna really said it better. |

Good eye. You captured the scenes feeling and not just a snapshot. I do like your composition showing the entire window. You have a steady hand. Suggest boosting the ISO as that Fujifilm will handle it without noise like in an SLR. Experiment with 1600 ISO to get a little higher shutter speed. Love your Fujifilm. |

Great capture with tonality and detail. My only thought is you might try cropping out the piece of cloudy sky in upper rightl Just at the glacier tip. The eye tends to go there because it is white.

Hi, Lorna thanks for the comment. I thought about talking to him for a brief moment and decided not. He wanted to see the VA Doctor more than me. Im wondering the same thing. Does the selected brown tint make this a color shot? More comments please. Truth be told the sepia was a mistake and I decided to leave it in. It is old age setting in. Ha. |

Not D&B. It was done with the blue slider in converting the color image to BW. |

Nice capture with interessting clouds. For me, the sky is a little too dark only because of the black water in the river. Its difficult to do when converting color to BW because when you adjust the blue in sky you also adjust the blue reflected water. Maybe try adjusting the river water and let the sky fall where it may. Nice composition.

Lance good find and capture. Composition perfect. I took it into Luminar Neo and made the sky a little darker only because I am partial to dark skies and white clouds contrasting. Sharpened up a tad with some added contrast to bring out those wall rocks. Love these old natiural rock structures. |

Sharp, good angle, exposure perfect. To my eye the narrow crop ruins the picture. It is the whole surrounding that gives it context. It is more like trying to make fine pictorial art out of a street shot. I do not see distractions in the original. I converted to BW just for drill. Does it look more like street work or not. |

The iPhone is wonderful for street photography. Discreet and technically perfect. Yes, your timing is spot on with the Trenton sign. Great story telling capture. |

Street Photography at its best. The composition, sharpness, story telling is terrific. Mom trying to show the daughter something interesting. A great example of Chiaroscuro, distribution of light and shade. I converted to BW with no adjustments just to see what it looks like. What do you think? Love your camera and lens. |

Cutting off heads is never a good idea in my view. It is only something I learned early on. Street Photography is more story telling than it is fine art thought provoking. The basic idea is to expose the subjects gestures. Timing is everything. |

Yes, the black and white version is best for a lot of reasons. Getting the detail back in the mans face is important. A fun shot and your wait to get the capture was worth it. Good work. Boosting the ISO would be appropriate here.

Tried cropping. It does not work as compostion is ruined. Tried to erase of clone stamp the guy out as well with no success either. I don't see where the guy detracts anything. He is alone and reading something. I am one of those types that compose in camera so what you see is what you get. Im a lousy pictorial photographer. To me, the guy is a part of the street picture documentary. Appreciate your comments. |
